Cliffs of Moher Day Tour From Dublin
CLIFFS OF MOHER DAY TOUR OVERVIEW
Our Cliffs of Moher Day Tour is a fully guided day tour to the to one of Ireland’s more impressive natural attraction with professional tour guides onboard guaranteeing a fun, safe and memorable day for all involved.
Your journey to the Cliffs of Moher will take you from the banks of Dublin’s River Liffey to Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way and back again all in one day. The tour is fully guided throughout and allows you and others onboard to learn more about the island of Ireland and how it has become what we know and love today.
Of course, you too will get the chance to see the biggest visitor attraction in all of Ireland and experience the nature, geology, history, culture and music of the region like no other on this Earth. Free entry into the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre is included with this tour and is usually valued at €6.00. And as the Cliffs of Moher is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Visitor Centre was built below ground to minimise visual impact and enhance the overall experience for all involved.
As the Cliffs of Moher stretch over 10km along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way, the Cliffs themselves are one of the most impressive sites you’ll ever see. And as our tour now gives you the perfect chance to learn about the Cliffs, with a 1.5 hour stop (minimum) for all visitors, this is the perfect time to understand why they have cemented their place in Irish folklore and history forever.
CLIFFS OF MOHER – THE LITTLE DETAILS
You also get the chance to spend your afternoon enjoying a cliff walk which stretches along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way and enjoy spectacular views as far as the Aran Islands. Allowing you to take advantage of once in a lifetime photo opportunities from O’Brien Tower, which is fast becoming a bit of a fan-favourite among visitors, as it is ideally perched on the cliff’s edge offering wonderful views over the surrounding landscapes.
BE SURE TO TAKE THE CLIFFS OF MOHER CRUISE
As we are the only company offering in Dublin offering a boat cruise tour of the edge of Western Europe (next stop is America by the way); this added extra allows you the chance to join the O’Brien family as you depart from Doolin sailing south for approximately 20 minutes to the highest point of the Cliffs of Moher, close to the large sea-stack, An Bhreannan Mor ( an Irish word – look it up).
The ship will then cruise around this section for another 20 minutes, where the crew will show you and explain the various points of interest – where the Puffins nest, O’Brien’s Tower at the highest point, and the famous sea cave that featured in the Harry Potter movie the Half-Blood Prince. For you then to return as safely as possible back to solid ground.
Top tip: Please know that the Cliffs of Moher Cruise does not run during the Winter period*
ENJOY A WELL EARNED REST AT DOOLIN VILLAGE
For lunch, you’ll enjoy leisure stop to explore Doolin Village a small Irish town with several great pubs serving seafood, soups, sandwiches and Irish made hot meals, all washed down with a creamy pint of the black stuff of course.
Other highlights of this guided day trip from Dublin include coastal drives and super views of the Atlantic Ocean alongside castles and monastery ruins, hand- picked to give you an insight into Ireland’s Celtic, Christian and Medieval past.
